Aaron Burden

You may have come across my photos online—whether on Unsplash, Pexels, or social media—or downloaded them for free from one of these platforms. While photography is a big part of what I do, I’m not a professional photographer—it’s just one of the ways I unwind. My true passion is sharing the hope of the gospel. I have the privilege of serving as an assistant pastor at Rosedale Baptist Church in Rosedale, MD, but most people recognize me through my photography.

Originally from North Carolina, I moved to Florida for college, where I met my wife and discovered my love for photography. With no formal training, I’m learning as I go, enjoying the process, and growing along the way.

I’ve been blessed to serve in vocational ministry for 20 years across several churches, helping people grow in their faith and experience the love of Christ.

Over the years, my photos have reached over 3 billion views and nearly 25 million downloads on Unsplash. I’ve also had the honor of having my work featured by Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign, the President-Elect’s website, and Google. Beyond that, I’ve captured images for cities across the Midwest and traveled with the National Association of State Foresters.

I’m truly grateful for the doors that have opened along this journey and for you taking the time to learn a little about me. If I can offer any help, encouragement, or simply pray with you about something, feel free to reach out at aaron@aaronburden.me.
